A fun color inside the drawers might be a cheery surprise every morning :) And love the idea of new drawer pulls. If you're worried about scratches, you could always add some extra weathering to it to make it look more antiquey and distressed. My friend recently took a hammer and a blow torch to her dining room table! But that might be a little extreme :)

Gorgeous! Enjoy your nard work and new room.eyeheartorangehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04085821336670950308noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7601374458070237209.post-58863069460654998422010-06-04T09:25:19.792-04:002010-06-04T09:25:19.792-04:00weirdly enough, the smell of mothballs is comforth...weirdly enough, the smell of mothballs is comforthing to me. a growing up smell. which makes me wonder WHY do my parents no longer use mothballs? did all the moths suddenly go away? no idea.JuneBughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02238700738967196279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7601374458070237209.post-66099416647033143502010-06-02T17:41:11.481-04:002010-06-02T17:41:11.481-04:00Looks great! But, I think a shade of green to coordinate with the orange in your bed spread would be fantastic!Courtneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05838857116488665223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7601374458070237209.post-24675028122598791572010-06-02T10:10:22.128-04:002010-06-02T10:10:22.128-04:00How about using Ann's suggestions and paint th...How about using Ann's suggestions and paint the knobs green to match the night stands?!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7601374458070237209.post-56721625529864091752010-06-02T09:09:19.412-04:002010-06-02T09:09:19.412-04:00The dresser looks really nice there. Maybe you would have to Kilz the inside of the dresser also. Then you could go over the scratches with some restore stuff (I have a bottle you can have) and buy a new set of matching knobs.Annnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7601374458070237209.post-37368163854568320582010-06-01T22:56:51.260-04:002010-06-01T22:56:51.260-04:00Love the white walls. But that might be too bright.

Funny story, ever since moving out of the Adirondacks, I've been trying to incorporate bright colors into my decor since it appears that while in the Adirondacks, I chose to decorate with forest colors. You know... brown, sky blue and evergreen green?

Which is why I vote for a bright color!Aprilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00429718256691772971noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7601374458070237209.post-27128554155229275542010-06-01T21:43:48.221-04:002010-06-01T21:43:48.221-04:00Interesting you should say green.
